21 Days of Prayer & Fasting 2021 with Anthem Chapel

*News Alert*

We’ve had a lot of rain this week, and it’s been a blessing! But the rain has also left a lot of mud and water standing water in our beloved tent. So rather than have everyone get their feet muddy, we’re going online only this Sunday and postponing our 3rd birthday celebration to next Sunday, February 7th. We will be streaming our service live Sunday at 9:30am on Facebook Live, YouTube Live, and live.anthemchapel.com. Please tune in for amazing worship and Pastor Nate’s teaching in our “Life in the Desert” series.

We can’t wait to see you on Sunday, February 7th for our third birthday party!

For the past two years, Anthem Chapel has taken 21 days in January to seek the Lord through prayer and fasting. And this year is no exception. From January 11th-31st we will provide a Bible reading and devotional to strengthen our walk and deepen our times of prayer and fasting. Jesus taught us we, “always ought to pray and to not lose heart” (Luke 18:1), and so this year, our focus is to be encouraged by the words of Jesus as we pray together. In a year FULL of news, we want this to be a time for us to refocus our attention on the good news of Jesus. Our devotional booklet contains 21 devotions written by 21 leaders in our church that will encourage you in your prayer time. Pick up your devotional at the Connect Tent this Sunday or find it online here: 21 Days of Prayer 2021

In addition to the 21 Day devotional, we are inviting you to join us in a corporate commitment to prayer. Psalm 55:17 describes David crying out to the Lord morning, noon, and night. Likewise, we as a church want to commit to covering each part of each day in prayer. We created a place for you to sign up here. When you sign up for a slot, you commit to pray anytime in the morning, afternoon, or the evening of the slot you sign up for. You can pray silently or out loud, at home, at work, in your car, or at the beach! Consider praying with a prayer partner like a friend, your spouse, or as a family. If your kids would like to pray, sign them up too! However you pray is up to you-but remember as long as you pray, the Lord is pleased!
